Actor Colin Farrell is suing a woman for allegedly trying to distribute and profit from a sex tape he says the two recorded with the agreement it would never be made public. The lawsuit seeks monetary damages as well as a temporary restraining order and injunction prohibiting the sale or other use of the videotape. Farrell, 29, accuses Nicole Narain of trying to distribute the tape through an intermediary.
The two had an intimate relationship two-and-a-half years ago and both agreed that the 15-minute tape that shows the couple having sex would be jointly owned by them and would remain private, according to the suit. The lawsuit also accused the 31-year-old woman of working with the owner of an internet pornography business and contacting the news media about the tape.
The lawsuit said the release of the videotape would irreparably harm Farrell's reputation and career.
Farrell, who's films include Alexander and Minority Report, has been granted a restraining order against a former girlfriend who allegedly tried to distribute a tape of them having sex. A US judge has temporarily forbidden Nicole Narain from selling, showing or distributing the 15-minute video. The Irishman, 29, is suing Ms Narain for damages, claiming she contacted the media about the tape and worked with an internet pornography business. Mr Farrell claims the video, which was made two and a half years ago, was jointly owned with topless model Ms Narain, 31, and that they had a verbal agreement that it should remain private. The actor's case also stated that the release of the tape would greatly harm his reputation and career. He is seeking an injunction forbidding the sale and distribution of the tape.
It added that the defendants' "outrageous attempt to capitalise on the celebrity of Colin Farrell... exceeds all bounds of common human decency". The legal action, filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, also names Paul Nash of Internet Commerce Group - an online pornography company - as a defendant in the case.
Mr Farrell will next be seen in period drama The New World and the film version of TV show Miami Vice. Farrell, who has starred in S.W.A.T and Alexander, and is slated to appear in The New World and Miami Vice, has been named one of the sexiest men alive by People magazine. He has a son with model Kim Bordenave.
Narain could not be reached for comment. A call to a phone number listed for her showed the number had been disconnected. A message left for Farrell's lawyer was not immediately returned. The lawsuit also accused the 31-year-old woman of working with the owner of an Internet pornography business and contacting the news media about the tape.

He got the chance to work opposite his hero in The Recruit (an experience he described as "scary as hell to work opposite a legend," even though he says Pacino was one of the kindest men he'd ever met and says they still hang out together).
Talk about a “Bone Booth” !!! This is the Colin Farrell sex tape described !!
A mysterious man calledfor advice on how to sell the “authentic, 14-minute” Colin Farrell/Nicole Narain (and just like that, the former Playmate is famous - look how easy it is!) sex tape and described the hot, amateur action. The description of the steamy tape in graphic detail, starting with a naked Nicole in her living room turning on some music, and ending with Farrell pointing the camera at her white cat in the corner of the room and saying, “Baby, you have the most beautiful [kitty].”
In between, Narain, who was Miss January in 2002, displays her pierced tongue as she looks up at the camera and winks. And Farrell, who had a shaved head for his role in “Daredevil,” reciprocates, saying, “I could do this breakfast, lunch and dinner.”
Narain, who has a tattoo on her backside, also goes through a couple of sexual positions described in the Kama Sutra, starting with “the missionary.”
We apologize for dismissing Bone Booth (our freely offered name for Farrell’s tape) as an “amateur” effort. The cringe-worthy dialogue, uninspired handheld camera work, and litany of mildly gymnastic positions sounds like it could be every bit as professional as straight-from-the-Valley product.
Although Hollywood bad boy Colin Farrell has been working to stop its distribution for nearly six months, a sex video featuring Farrell and former Playboy Playmate Nicole Narain is likely closer to distribution this week. Farrell filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court in July to restrain Narain from releasing the video, which allegedly features the well-endowed actor in a consensually produced sex film with the buxom Narain.
Since the complaint, attorneys for Narain and online porn peddler Internet Commerce Group have been seeking distribution rights for the film, looking to make the case an issue of federal copyright, not privacy.
They succeeded this week in moving the case to federal court on copyright grounds.
“We believe that Ms. Narain is entitled to exercise her copyright per federal statutes, and we hope that the court will clear the way for the tape to be released soon,” Sal Abbate, CEO of ICG, said in an official statement Monday.
Narain is clearly hoping the video goes public, too, having recently appeared on Rita Cosby’s “Life & Direct” show on MSNBC, where she spent a good deal of her time arguing entitlement to the money-making potential of the Farrell sex tape.
Well the newest of Hollywood bad boys has been caught out at his own game. We have a whole bunch of stuff inside revealing Colin and Nicole at the peaks of their respective careers, AND HOPEFULLY ONE DAY WE WILL BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU EITHER PICTURES AND VIDEO OF THE ALLEGED SEX TAPE OR MAYBE EVEN BOTH. WE HAVE NEVER HAD, AND DO NOT HAVE NOW EITHER. We do have a delightful satirical parody and plenty of Farrell and Narain material for any fan to add to their collection. |
