1. Angelina Jolie - Oscar winner and by far, the most tattooed celebrity we've seen so far. With lips that would please any man and blessed with stunning grand looks, plus those long long legs, Angelina has at least a dozen images on her body. From what we've seen and you will too, our Ms. Jolie has no reason to slow down in her pursuit of body art! Exotic, with a hint of dangerous sensuality, Angelina is a woman with an edge and is rumoured to enjoy a little knife play in the bedroom. Wouldn't WE love to see that one! When she's tired of them, Angelina visits her favourite laser center to make room for her next lover's name when she exits stage left! Angelina has made the tribal dragon one of the most popular tattoos for women, and sparked an intense interest in the traditional tattooing of Southeast Asia. Jolie has large numbers of web sites devoted to her worship and her popularity shows no signs of waning as she puts her own personal spin on the emerging genre of female action-stars. Jolie's tattoo commitment apparently extends to her retaining her own make-up artist whose sole job it is to cover-up her extensive body art, a process rumored to take over an hour.

2. Nicole Richie - When you're the daughter of Lionel Richie and blessed with long, beautiful blonde tresses, along with a singing voice and acting ability, Nicole has carved her own space in stardom land. Adopted by the Richie family when she was nine, Nicole has a grand background in music, her real father being Pete Escovedo, brother of 1980s pop percussionist Sheila E. Co-starring with Paris Hilton in television reality series, 'The Simple Life', along with many other credits to her name, Nicole is not afraid to pierce her lovely nipples or dress up her shapely figure with tattoos galore. She is known for her adventuresome nature in the body art department and has at least nine tattoos, including a pair of ballerina slippers - her father, Lionel wrote her a song, called Ballerina Girl, so we know where that one originated. We're sure there are more on the way.

3. 50 Cent - Most of us know him by his ghetto nick, 'Fiddy-cent', a thirty year old, very popular rapper, record producer; and, of course, aspiring actor. He is a cultural phenomenon, with his bad-boy bling-it-on image. While his smile can light up a room and he is rumoured to be a really nice guy, his tatoos are scrutinised and probably rank amongst the most copied, most popular tats on the planet. This is one guy who doesn't stop with rapping and tattoos. He's got his own clothing line and is planning to release his own label of condoms and sex toys. Can you imagine a 'fiddy cent' condom? Or vibrator? We can. He's got extensive body art, including complete coverage of his back, a piece that is probably one of the world's best known. The South Side Fifty back-piece on 50 Cent has become a signature, nearly as recognizable as his face and his music. He is also America's most controversial music star because of his glorification of the gangster thug life, in which his extensive tattoo must be said to play a major role. Many African-Americans are limited by their skin tone to getting body art done primarily using black ink, but that has in no way limited the quality of 50's tattoos.

4. Britney Spears - It's a rare day in hell when our Britney doesn't make it to the news. The little darling of bad-girls has quite the assortment of tats on her MILF heavenly body. Well known for her trailer trash taste in men and clothing, a little known fact has her studying the Kabbelah, the mysterious dark side of Judaism. Amongst her other tattoos, Britney had a series of Hebrew symbols etched into the back of her neck in an act of devotion to Kabbalah, the mystical form of Judaism she was introduced to by Madonna. Unfortunately for Britney, those who follow the faith are forbidden to have tattoos, so oops! AND, they're right on the back of her neck. Poor Britney. Blessed with great looks in a sleazy kind of way, she is not well known for being tattoo careful. With tattos of a fairy on her lower back, a small daisy circling her second right foot toe, a butterfly leaving a vine on her left foot, and a flower with a Chinese symbol (who knows what that means?), plus her three Hebrew symbols on the nape of her neck, Ms. Spears' body is filled with symbolism and poor taste. She's a piercer, too, with belly button and nipple piercing. One has to wonder what compels Spears when it comes to tattoos. One has to wonder about her fashion sense, also, but we're not discussing that today. By getting an odd assortment of small tattoos all over her body, she runs the risk of looking like someone has gone crazy with a rubber-stamp. Her tattoos, the butterfly, fairy, Chinese symbol and others, do not show a terrible amount of imagination or originality. They are the same tattoos picked off the wall by a million other teenage girls in a thousand tattoo parlours in every Mall and Trailer Park in middle America.

5. The Rock - Now, here's a partial Samoan who could tattoo his entire body and still make our heart throb with sexual anticipation. Thirty-four and built like the proverbial brick you know what, The Rock, formerly known as Dwayne Douglas Johnson (we rather like his nick much better).....is a Taurus with a magnificent Brahma bull tattoo'd on his huge, right biceps, along with a large Polynesian-style tattoo piece on his upper left arm and shoulder. Johnson, who is part Samoan, has claimed that the Polynesian tattoo is a traditional Samoan piece, but it more closely resembles Marquessan tattooing than the traditional Samoan Pe'a. The Rock chose the tattoo specifically to pay homage to his ethnic heritage. The Rock may have started out as a wrestler for the dubious WWE, but we all know that acting, if you can call it that, has become his career of choice. Whether or not he CAN act is of no import. Most of his fans, including us, are eminently satisfied with looking and drooling over his strong-man body and chiseled good looks. Plus, the tattoos are intricately designed. This man is a piece of art work, worthy of our attention.

6. Alyssa Milano - The lovely babe from Brooklyn started her acting career off Broadway and has never looked back, from Tony Award winning shows to film and television hits. She's a lady with many talents and gorgeous good looks, along with some of the most searched for tattoos, a close second behind Angelina Jolie. One of her more copied designs is a tattoo of a version of the most sacred symbol in Hindu dharma, the Aum, which is the sound of the infinite. Aum is said to be the essence of all mantras, the highest of all matras or divine word (shabda), brahman (ultimate reality) itself. Alyssa Milano has this design on the back of her neck but it can be worn anywhere. On her lovely tush, she sports a sacred heart. Who wouldn't want to see that? Obviously a spiritual girl, Alyssa has a fairy on her hip, rosary beads on her back, an angel on her left ankle, and a garland of flowers on her right ankle. This lovely lady has covered all of her bases with spiritual art on her heavenly body. Passionately devoted to many causes, Alyssa is profoundly deep, profoundly lovely and talented and is worthy of your time. Take a peek at her artwork. 7. Eminem - Born Marshall Mathers, the Third, no less, Eminem is a cultural phenomenon whose rapping in Detroit caught the attention of Dr. Dre and the rest is history. He's a white rapper who isn't afraid of vulgarity, the law, nor his wife, Kimberly. He's got one on the center of his belly, named 'Rot in Pieces'. This tattoo is aimed at Eminem's (divorced) wife Kim Scott. he had it done one night after a fight with Kim, assuming he would never get back together with her. It shows a picture of an open grave with the words "Rot in Pieces" below. Sense the irony. Not surprising, Enimem is considered a highly controversial rapper, with a Grammy and Oscar under his belt. His tattoos reflect the dark side of his personality, with a touch of bizarre humour. The Rapper, producer, and actor has dog tags tattooed around his neck, a large mushroom on his left shoulder, his daughter's name,"Hailie Jade", a gothic style bracelet on his left wrist, "Slit Here" on his right wrist, a D on his right forearm, a 12 on his left forearm, one tattoo standing for Eminem on one side of chest, one tattoo standing for Slim Shady on the other side, a design on right bicep, and several others...

8. David Robert Joseph Beckham - British soccer player David Beckham has been collecting tattoos for many years. The total has just gone up to nine, with the appearance of a winged cross on the back of his neck right in the midst of the European championships. The debate has surged, taking a man’s private symbology to the front pages of some of the most critical tabloids in the world. Beckham’s collection began with the birth of his eldest son, Brooklyn. He had his son’s name tattooed across his lower back. The second tattoo was what David called a guardian angel, a human figure with arms outstretched, tattooed across his shoulders and down his spine, looking down over the tattoo of Brooklyn’s name. Tattoo session number seven saw the addition of wings to this figure and the addition of his second son’s name, Romeo, just above the figure’s head. For his wife, former Spice Girl Posh, Beckham had his wife’s proper name “Victoria” tattooed on the inside of his left forearm in Hindi. This tattoo raised one of the most common debates in getting a tattoo in a language that is not your own native one. Supposedly it is misspelled, containing an extra “h.” This tattoo was also added to more recently. Under Victoria’s name is now the Latin phrase “Ut Amem Et Foveam” which translates to “so that I love and cherish.” David Beckham’s right forearm speaks more of his soccer career. The Roman numeral VII, for the number seven, is tattooed on the inside forearm. This was his number when he played for Manchester United and is still the number he wears for England. That tattoo was also added to when he had the addition to his left forearm in May 2004. Under the number is the Latin phrase “Perfectio In Spiritu” meaning “spiritual perfection." Another angel was added to his right shoulder and bicep more recently, when the Beckham’s have been under a fairly constant attack from the media for a variety of allegations and perceptions about their marriage. With the angel is the text “In the face of adversity.” It seems fair to say that Beckham is determined to stand by his own beliefs and his family despite the British press onslaught and this tattoo is supposedly symbolic of this. All of Beckham's skin art has been done by a famous Manchester tattooist, one of the most prominent in the UK. The current tabloid debates include appropriateness of the designs, varied interpretations of what the designs “really mean” and the debate of Beckham’s position as a team captain and sports figure. Given the repeated use of angel and cross imagery, it would seem that David Beckham’s tattoos relate very strongly to his spiritual and private life. Whether a celebrity’s private family and spiritual life can be dictated by the watching fans or world will remain to be seen. David Beckham seems to be content to continue walking his own path.

9. Pamela Anderson - Playmate, Bunny of the Year, Baywatch Babe, and, of course, best known for her sexual antics with Tommy Lee leaked tape, we cannot talk about tattoos and beauty without mentioning Pamela..such a darling girl. Anderson has been in the forefront of television, magazine, and the Internet, with the honour of being one of the top ten in Internet Tattoo searches. She has wonderful black-art work as skin art, and her back piece is particularly impressive. Her barbed-wire arm band spawned thousands of thousands of imitators and we all know that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. She's a queen royal to her lascivious fans and we do not see interest in her body, her looks, her tats, ever waning. An interesting quote from Pammy: 'Tattoos are like stories - they're symbolic of the important moments in your life. Sitting down, talking about where you got each tattoo and what it symbolizes, is really beautiful.' Course, she also says size does matter. Gossip has it that Pam contracted Hep C from a shared tattoo needle with ex hubby, Tommy Lee; but, those in the know don't believe it at all. That's a whole other story. For now, let's enjoy her magnificent attributes and skin decor.

10. Drew Barrymore - Our little Drew has been struttin' her stuff for a very long time, starting with her memorable performance in E.T. Drew just keeps getting better and better roles and has grown into a lovely and sexy lady, sporting her body art for more than a decade. She is very comfortable with her skin and its many decorations. As a matter of note, she even posed for a famous Playboy pictorial in 1995, displaying her adorable and charming self, with at least five tattoos and who knows how many we haven't seen. Yet. Drew's take on getting a tattoo: "I let him do it. And it felt so good. God, that pain is like nothing else in the world... And it's so sexual too, you know? I mean, after it's done you just want to go and drive a car off a cliff or something, you know?" The tumultuous beauty was also heard to state: "Sometimes I bust out and do things so permanent. Like tattoos and marriage." So true. So true. Her middle name is Blythe, which means 'happy spirit'. Look for that very theme when you view her skin decor!

11. Robert 'Robbie' Peter Maximillion Williams - Who has this many names? Apparently, British Pop Star Robbie Williams does and he sports plenty of tattoos, which decorate his body. From musical notes and a Beatles quote in black artwork across his back to the Crucifixion on his left forearm, there are plenty of interesting designs that Robbie wears his tattoos well, with an engaging smile and a nicely shaped bod. Robbie has a keen sense of humour, too, for one of his text designs says 'BORN TO BE MILD' and another one says 'ELVIS, GRANT ME SERENITY'. A little tongue in cheek humour for a pop star, don't you think? What sets Williams apart among celebrity tattoo enthusiasts is the large number of Memorial tattoos dedicated to members of his family, a sentimental side to his flamboyant public persona.

12. Christina Maria Aguilera - With a voice that has a range of four octaves, the very popular singing star has a tattoo on her left forearm that reads "Te Amo Siempre" which is Spanish for "I love you always". In the middle of the tattoo she's got the two Hebrew letters "Y" and "B"...which are her boyfriend's initials, amongst other unusual artwork that graces her beautiful body. 'Xtina' is prominently tattooed on the back of her neck,what appears to be a small flower on her left wrist, an unusual looking design on the inside of her left forearm, a rumored design on the small of her back, and an unknown tattoo just below her bikini line. As well-known for her unorthodox fashion style as her four octave vocal range, Aguilera also has numerous piercings to go with her body art, including her left nostril, a labret, her right nipple, and reputedly several genital piercings. Flamboyant and veddy sexy, Christina, Grammy winner and extraordinary personality, Christina has achieved her success with relentless determination and a willingness to stretch her creative boundaries. Her tattoos are an embodiment of her own sense of self and unique style.

13. Travis Barker - Best known as the former drummer for Blink 182, Travis is sexually uninhibited, as exhibited by his rather frank interview with Playboy and it doesn't stop there. He often performs topless to show off his tattoos. And, who wouldn't want to see them? Colourful and outrageous, Travis is a walking, talking, singing, tattoo enthusiast. Each and every mark on his body has meaning for Travis, from the Boom box on his stomach to the 'bones' tattoo on his leg. He considers his right arm to be his good luck arm. It has everything - a deck of cards, drumsticks, a martini glass, a dollar sign, his lucky number seven, his initials, and a rabbit's foot. The race flag on his neck is for the year of his favourite Cadillac. He has Japanese flowers on the back of his neck. 'I don't even know what they look like, because I can't see back there', stated Travis, for the media. But, we can and will show you, his faithful fans. Explaining his large number of tattoos, most of which appear on his torso, arms and upper body, Barker told the media, "I tattooed my body so I couldn't fall back on anything. I purposely did that so I couldn't get a normal job. I did it so I had to play music." Though many suspect that it is a body suit, they are all in fact real tattoos, on which he himself has claimed to have spent over $30,000 on.

14. Tommy Lee Bass - Better known as the infamous Tommy Lee, whose sexual antics are splashed everywhere, in perpetuity with Pamela Anderson, the Rocker and ex-drummer for metal band Motley Crue simply has so many tattoos, it will take you quite some time to look at all of them. Truly a poster boy for a tattooed body, his most famous artistry is the word 'MAYHEM'prominently displayed across his stomach; the same stomach prominently displayed in the all-too-well-known sex tape with Pamela. Lee is constantly seeking out new skin designs. When asked about his latest one, he had this to say: ' have a set of lips on my neck - my girlfriend Mayte's lips. She's Puerto Rican, and she's got these beautiful, big, yummy lips. That's probably the newest. I'm running out of room! I think I've got to start on the legs. I have a giant phoenix and some tribal stuff from Tahiti on my leg, but there's some blank space left. The human canvas is about complete!' Human canvass is an apt description for Tommy's bod. Tommy's tribal back piece is a true work of art. The large cheetah on his arm needs close scrutiny to see the intricate detailing the inkist created. Too many to list here, check out the images we have. Tommy Lee may be an attention whore and he's got the body art to prove it.

15. Pink - Outspoken on fur, the President and Hollywood, Alecia Beth Moore, – aka Pink – likes to have her say, most notably with her hilarious send-up of ditsy Hollywood ‘It’ girls in her latest video. Now with the release of her fourth album, the pop star shows that she may have grown up a bit, but she’s still armed and dangerous. Pink plans to mark her mature, adult relationships with her parents by “dedicating my arms” to them. Taking advantage of the fact that hubby has his own tattoo shop, Pink plans elaborate inky tributes. Pink has her own unique sense of style, with a shooting star and angel on the back of her left shoulder, 'what goes around comes around'inked onto her right wrist, 'tru luv' a little higher up. On her upper left thigh is 'Mr. Pink', an Oriental style dragon. Pink also has a cartoon cat on her lower stomach, and the barcode from the album Missundaztood just below her hairline on back of her neck. Rounding out her rather eclectic collection of tattoos are a frog on her left foot, the Japanese kanji symbol for luck/happiness on her right ankle, an infinity sign on her hip, a red star on her hand, and her Father's and brother's army dog tags on her left foot, in addition to several others...since her marriage to Cory Hart, who is also heavily tattooed, Pink has major plans for her body. And, such a cute body it is. Can't wait to see what she does next.

16. Sarah Michelle Gellar - Sarah's career in show business began in 1981, when she was only four years old. As a little tyke, Sarah was discovered by an agent while dining at a local eatery. Only three weeks after the initial chance meeting, Sarah was cast in her first film entitled An Invasion of Privacy. Fortunately for her, in 1996, Sarah was picked to be the star of a new series called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, based on the movie by the same name. Needless to say, the show was an instant hit and Sarah began receiving boatloads of movie scripts. The following season, the show was picked up for another 22 episodes, which cemented Sarah's success as an actress, albeit in an unbelievable role. While she doesn't have as many tattoos as some other celebrities, our 'Buffy' has the Chinese symbol for integrity on the small of her back and the Tao symbol for patience on her ankle. She also has over a hundred and fifty sites that can't get enough of this gorgeous Vampire Slayer. She is married to Freddie Prinze Jr. who is also tattooed.

17. Paris Hilton - Can enough be said of our heiress and socialite, whose activities manage to make the news constantly? She's hot, having coined the year's phrase 'That's hot'. She's opinionated and once had a tattoo of former boyfriend, Back Street Boy, Nick Carter's name on her stylin' right tush cheek. She has since had it laser removed; but, that doesn't stop us from wanting to see it or her bottom, whether the tatt is there or not. One of the most searched for names in both mags and on the Internet, Paris is enjoying fame to the fullest. She now insists that skin art is 'unoriginal'; but, who knows what Paris will do next? This year's unoriginality might just emerge as next year's kitchy trend. The girl does change her mind. A lot. Her place on the list of Top Twenty Five Tattooed Celebrities probably has more to do with her penchant for losing track of her home movies and her fiance du jour than anything else. Her name is an interesting barometer of popular culture. While she may well be the only girl in America without a tattoo above her ass, Paris is more well known for her eccentric lack of intellectual thoughts. What makes her newsworthy is she doesn't pretend to be smart.

18. Brad Pitt - Catapulted to the list by virtue of association with bonkable beauty, Angelina Jolie, in all truth, Brad doesn't have a single mark on his body that Nature didn't give him. Yet. Rumour has it that he has one, although no one has seen it. Yet. Apparently, it's a piece of Arabic script for energy; and, trust us, we are looking for hard evidence. Oh wait. We DO have an image that confirms its existence, so it must be true. While Brad does not seem to have tattoos of his own, he certainly plays them well in his movies. For instance, in Ocean's Eleven, he sports a black tribal design on his left hand. In the movie, Snatch, Brad's well developed body is covered in temporary art, certainly worth a look and a drool, since they are so realistic and his body is scultped so nicely. He's so good looking and managed to 'get' the girl, he's worthy of a mention, especially now that we are pretty sure he's got some skin art, for real. Who could refuse the bad girl pouty lips of Angelina Jolie?

19. Bam Margera - Brandon Cole 'Bam' Magera has accomplished much in his young life. Best known for his pro skateboarding and acting in 'Jackass', Bam has a heart-a-gram symbol tattooed on his lower stomach and a large tattoo design on his right side. Amongst his many antics, he allegedly had sex with the righteous Jessica Simpson, plays some of the most outrageous pranks on his hit series, MTV's Viva La Bam. After "blowing" up April's house and loading elephants to the Margera front lawn, Bam has managed to up the ante and push it way over the bounds of sanity and gravity for the new season of Viva La Bam. Follow Bam and his clan across the Atlantic as they prank their way through Europe, then return to the U.S. for antics like declaring the "State of Bam" and putting April, Phil and Vito through more hell than they've ever endured before. What can we say about Bam that hasn't been screamed by emergency medical personnel before? Bam is a joker, a loveable scamp, and one of the craziest #$%^&*! we've ever seen. Why his family puts up with him we'll never know--we're just so happy that he's there to keep on pushing. He's a favourite bad boy amongst skateboard afficionados and the chicks, so he's got it all going for him. Including his body art.

20. Victoria Caroline Beckham - Former Spice Girl, Posh, has five stars on her lower back - one for each family member and on the underside of her left wrist, 'DB', for her famous husband, David Beckham. Yes, THAT David Beckham. What seems to be a marriage made in heaven, the two are happily exchanging tattoos, as David has Victoria's name in Hindi tattooed on his arm and she bears his children and his initials. Are there more in store for our former Posh? She's already won the Razzie Award for Worst Actress. Seems the best move she ever made was to marry the famous soccer star and ink his initials onto her body forever. This plucky, petite Brit insists she will never release another record, unless it is with the other Spice Girls. She claims her husband and children are her priority and she will never sing again. Rumours abound, however, about secret meetings with other members of the Girls, although nothing is certain, is it, with our celebrities? Which means, she could be getting more tattoos for us to ogle.

21. Johnny Depp - We cannot say enough about this versatile bad boy of Hollywood. Oscar-nominated, never a winner, one must ask the question, 'Who DID Johnny piss off?', since he is clearly a favourite son amongst his many fans. Acting abilities aside, Johnny Depp has many, many tattoos, which makes looking at him even more pleasurable. Johnny Depp has maintained his rebel status and his legitimate acting talent throughout his career. He began getting tattoos on his arms at the age of seventeen, marking points in his life that he deemed significant. He has continued collecting tattoos over the years, and now as he moves into his forties, his arms are full of various images. Rarely do actors who enjoy mainstream success also pursue such intense expression of visual individuality, as these often clash with the transformation into various characters for their work. To the best of our knowledge, Johnny’s most recent tattoo is the one inked on his right forearm in celebration of his son Jack. Sharp-eyed viewers will note that this tattoo of a bird in flight and the name “JACK” is not identical to Captain Jack Sparrow’s tattoo in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. Captain Jack’s bird flies away from his body: Johnny’s tattoo reverses that direction. He had the image flipped and moved so that the bird would be flying toward him, because it represents his son Jack — and, as Johnny told an interviewer in spring 2004, “You always want him coming back to you.” Not bad for a guy whose start was a heartthrob cop on the teenybopper drama '21 Jump Street'.

22. Bow Wow - Shad Gregory Moss, rapper, owns the inevitable clothing line, Shago, and appears in Campbell soup commercials. This is a kid who started rapping when he was three years old, so he's no stranger to the spotlight. Got his first tatt when he was sixteen and now has plenty of body art inked into his fresh young skin. Snoop Dogg gave him his nick after the release of his first hip hop record; and, now the young star has dropped the 'Lil' from his nick and just goes by Bow Wow. A hot verse isn’t all that the people like about Shad Gregory Moss. Fans, including jealous teenage girls, have grown increasingly infatuated with Bow Wow’s very grown up-looking relationship with Ciara. Engagement rumors aside, Bow Wow welcomes the New Year and new possibilities. When asked about defining the term, MC, Bow Wow had this to say: 'It is a art form. And myself, I was brought in to Hip-Hop at a young age so MC'ing is just more than just the look, the swagger, how you talk, it is an art form. And it’s also how you carry yourself. And it’s also a talent. Like Hip-Hop is like it’s like our church - for us. This represents us and I think that you know a lot of people really don’t understand that. Lot of people just look at it like, you know tattoos, jewelry and those are just fads. It’s much deeper than that'. We believe there will be lots of Bow Wow's voice and body art in our futures.

23. Method Man - Rapper and member of the Hip Hop collective, Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man, aka Clifford Smith, is very well known for his work, both as a solo artist and collaborates often with Redman. He's also dabbled in acting, such as HBO's 'Wire' and has tattoos, which is how he made our list of tattooed celebs. Raised in the Stapleton Projects on the isle of Shaolin (Staten Island), Method Man found worldwide success with the Wu-Tang Clan. His hype delivery, gravelly flow and weeded humor has made him a fan favourite. With brooding good looks and unique body art, Method Man is sure to titillate your senses. His most notable tatt is on his left arm, which appears to be the words 'LIFE OR DEATH', depending on which angle you look at it.

24. The Game - Jayceon Terrell Taylor is an American rapper and is proving to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast Hip Hop scene. No stranger to violence, he was raised amongst the Crips and, at one time, was a Piru Blood. The rapper's nickname is said to have been coined by his grandmother, who supposedly said that he was always "Game" for anything. His mother and Father were active in gangs. It influenced the rapper to be a part of the gang bangin lifestyle. The Game was shot five times after a failed drug deal in 1999.
